(no subject)
Wow, I'm so glad that I have my LJ to talk to when I get off of work, because at least I know that it listens to whatever I have to say. No-call no-shows are no fun and make for more work, but it doesn't even matter today, because today is a great day.
Whilst I was at work today I gots a visit from my good friend Andy M., who asked me if I had off tonight, which I usually am working when he asks but this time I don't. And this is the best news ever. Because what does he ask me but do I want to go to a concert? I'm like hell yeah...who is it? And he is like "well, were going down to Chicago to see....none other than FM. (That is Flogging Molly for those who aren't very cool) Whoa! Such a great thing to happen on my day off (other than visiting all those cool peeps over at 102 N. Bassett) So I went from having a crappy day at work to going to FM in Chicago that night. What a turn of events. So now nothing can bring me down from my could of bliss. Now all we would have to do is get lost in Chi-town and have a cool adventurous questing mission there to make the event complete.
