Matthew 8:28-34
Jesus did not even get crazy with the demon possessed men. The demons were doing all the talking and Jesus just had to say, "All right, go!" and that was it. That's how much the demons feared Jesuvs.
Here's the thing. Jesus lives inside of me. If I allow Him, He rules my fleshly desires, my soulful desires and He is just as powerful in me as He was in the Bible--plus I have the Holy Spirit. Imagine the power I wield because Jesus lives inside of me. Greater is He that is in me that he that is in the world. In this case, the demons were the "he's in the world."
In other words, I can walk into a situation that is just as dangerous as this one. People so dangerous that no one wanted to go near the entire area. I can do that and not be afraid because Jesus, who handled this same situation, who the demons had to respond to, lives inside of me. See, the demons would not even have to deal with me. They would have to deal with Jesus that lives inside of me. But they still would have to deal with me because I also wield the authority of Jesus which is the same authority demonstrated in this passage.
I have to remember that wherever I go, I have the same person who had the entire demonic army on their knees in me. I have the one who had the demons shaking in me. No spiritual force can come against me because I have Jesus living inside of me. But also on top of that, I have His authority also.
