[When the feed turns on, Sirius looks like shit. He's beaten up pretty badly, one eye is nice and black and he's covered in bruises and cuts (or at least bandages that are wrapped around what are assumed to be cuts). Despite the beating that he got from Tom, he still has a cheery look on his face as he addresses the network for the first time since his fight. Since this is the first time he's felt well enough to actually sit up in bed.]
Last week wasn't that bad, really when you think about it. At least it wasn't for me. Compare last week to spending a single night at my parents' house and you can say the week was just like a trip to Hogsmeade.
Just, you know, with a lot less butterbeer and sweets and other such things.
[And this is where Sirius awkwardly turns the PCD off, though he does try to smile and brush the awkwardness off before he signs off.]
