Glad this stupid rain is going to end soon.  I'm getting bored being cooped up inside all week.  It might be annoying fixing everything up, but at least it'll be something to do.

Private to Remus//Unhackable
So Moony...what's the plan for tonight?  We going to head out to the Wastes in the storm?

werewolf talk, tonight won't be boring, padfoot out tonight, rain go the fuck away, hasn't done this for a while, this is going to suck, bored, full moon tonight

We will all be grateful when the sun shines down again. And the work will be a welcome change from forced idleness. Perhaps we can make places better than they were before the rains. Would not that be an accomplishment!

Maybe, though it really wouldn't be that hard to make some places in this city better than they were before the storm.

Any such improvements, no matter how easy or difficult, would be welcome, would they not? If we are to live here for some unknown duration, why should we not wish to live in the best possible fashion? Sturdy buildings, proper irrigation, things looking fresh rather than run-down - surely these are not unreasonable things to want in a home? And why not use this as the impetus to begin such work, or begin it anew, if it was attempted before?

Guess so.

It's hard to find ways to make this stuff last, though. Specially with the Animus throwing events like this at us all the time. Even magic can't protect everything.

Nothing made by man lasts forever. Buildings may be destroyed or damaged by storms, winds, animals, runaway carts, fires - all sorts of things. But that should not deter us from attempting to make ourselves more comfortable. If it did wherever we are from, we would still be sleeping in fields or hollows.

You're awfully optimistic, even after living in this place for a while. Not a bad thing though.

I have my cousin with me, and I have Bubbles, and many friends. I am getting a far more thorough education in what it means to be lady of a household, and I can, within reason, make decisions for myself. It is not such a bad thing to live here. I miss my home, of course, but if all I did was to sit and weep over what I miss, then I would not be able to care for those for whom I am responsible. And beyond that, I would make them upset as well. And I do not wish to upset my cousin or my friends.

[And she lives every day in hope that Romeo will find himself here. She can't give up that hope.]

Hey, I'm not sayin' anything against this place, really. I like it here, since my future isn't looking so good for when I go home.

I am very sorry to hear that. I hope that the situation will improve. My own is tenuous as well.

There's nothing I can improve about my future. I've just got to deal with it when the time comes.

I - I am sorry for that as well. But I am certain that you will bear it with dignity.

[Going to prison isn't really a dignified thing, Juliet...]

Yeah...maybe.

[Neither is faking your own death and then dying for real, but shhh, Sirius.]

The only way to bear a hardship is with dignity.
