Remember the Star Ace Sirius Black figure that I was going crazy about earlier this year? Well I did end up getting him! He's been here for quite a while now but I haven't gotten around to posting photos of him. But back when I first got him, I did this little photoshoot. I haven't done another photoshoot with him since because while I was taking these pictures he fell into the dirt and gave me a heart attack, heh. He's fine but I haven't had the guts to take him outside again. He's definitely one of the prizes of my collection now though. Almost everything about him is perfect and he feels so lifelike. My only complaint would be his stand is crap and sometimes it's a bit difficult to get his jacket to sit right. Regardless, he's just absolutely perfect. I couldn't ask for anything more and I'm so thrilled to own such an awesome figure of my favorite character ever.
Now since we're on a Sirius note I happy to introduce these three guys.
Moony, Padfoot and Prongs! :D I am so so happy to finally have The Marauders (sans the rat) in some form or another. They're my favorite characters and have quickly become some of my favorite plushies as well. They come with me everywhere, haha.
Plushie form Sirius! Not only do I have an awesome figure of my favorite character but now I have a cuddly version of him as well! I have other black dogs that I've named Sirius or Padfoot but this guy is the perfect size and he has his friends that are perfectly in scale to him as well. Did I mention that Sirius is my favorite character ever? Because my love for him in undying, haha.
And what's Padfoot without his Prongs. I know a lot of people don't like James because of his rivalry with Snape but I personally love him and see a lot of good in him. I see him and Sirius as being a lot like Fred and George; you never see one without the other.
Best friends forever. :D I'm so happy that my plushie Sirius has his best friend to hang around with. I don't think Sirius could ever be truly happy without James. Can you tell I love these two together a lot? I think you can.
And of course Moony! Tonight is actually the full moon so poor Moony here is having a hard night. Remus has always been one of my favorite characters as well. How can you not love Remus? I really wish him and Tonks could have had a happy life together but I guess at least the Marauders were reunited in the afterlife? Honestly, that's the only way I've made some piece with their deaths almost 10 years after the fact, haha. I really want to get Remus a pink rabbit his size so she can be Tonks (a rabbit is Tonks's patronus and of course she's known for her pink hair).
And a bonus Padfoot picture for your enjoyment.
And now onto the funko figures.
The trio! I've really been getting into funko figures this past year. I haven't been buying many lately because I've bought quite a few Pullips in the past couple months so I don't have the funds but I love the idea of having figures of so many of my favorite characters that are in scale to each other.
So far, the only Harry Potter funko I'm missing is the Quiddich Harry. This here is the "Sword of Gryffindor" Harry which is a bit of a gimmick but I guess I gladly fall into a gimmick for Harry Potter, heh.
Hagrid is my first bigger funko pop. I do like how they have a bigger scale for the bigger characters. Also, if I have some odd typos on this entry, it's because I'm writing it on my iPad. I say this because autocorrect just corrected Hagrid to Haggis. Lol. Good thing I caught it.
And finally The Dark Lord and Snape. I promise James and Sirius have nothing to do with Snape being on his head. Nothing to do with it at all.
Well that was a long post! It's been a long while since I've bought Harry Potter stuff but I think I got a good haul this year so far!
