Rambling on about pic fics.

I tried to start up the pic fic today. I only got about one shot in before the neighbors dog got loose and ruined everything. I didn't want him coming up to my dolls and try to chew one of them up so I promptly left. I kinda have planned out what I want to do with it but I'm not sure if I should try and make it longer as now it's pretty damn short

I know how it is to have pets interrupt your photoshoots. We have a cat that lives outside that tries to jump on my dolls any time I set them down outside. The worst was when I set out all those Re-Ment goodies. My mom was outside every 5 seconds trying to distract the cat so I could take pictures.
A pic-fic doesn't need to be long to be good. It is important not to force anything out, and just kind of go with the story as it comes to you. I don't always have the greatest settings/props/lighting either, but I just try to work with what I have and overall just have fun with it. As corny as that probably sounds, that is the most important thing.

I don't think that sounds corny. It is the most important thing. I collect dolls/toys because I have fun with them and they make me happy. For me that's what matters the most. I ended up adding a bit more to the storyline so I'm content with how it's going now. Now I just need to get out there and take the pictures. Hopefully tomorrow it's not raining and there's no crazy dogs to attack me and my dolls, heh.
