Frozen, Muppets and a new friend
Sorry for abandoning this journal again. Apparently I had to go through more stress than I've ever been through before first for things to get better again. Lol. Things are starting to get better now so I hope to post more. :) Now I think I have a couple months of new stuff to catch up on right? Haha.
And thank you LJ app for crashing right after I finished this post and making me type it all out again. Jeez I can't delete the accidental drafts I always make but when I actually type a long post it doesn't save it as a draft. :p
It's an Olaf family portrait! I've come closer to completing my Olaf collection than I have my Elsa collection. I've had a hard time leaving any Olafs behind evidently. He melts my heart with his warm hugs. Lol. All of the Olafs are excited that it's summer...I can't say I agree with them. :P
And not much has changed with my Elsa collection. Yesterday was the first time I've seen an Elsa in stores since December. I left that Elsa behind though as she was too expensive for me right now. I've never bought a Mattel Disney doll before but I definitely don't remember them costing close to $30.
And poor Anna hasn't had any additions either. Just the Funko Pop Comic Con figure but more about her later. I've seen a bunch of Mattel Annas but I'm only really interested in the Disney Store Annas and, of course, I haven't seen her there since December too. I think the Disney Store just puts out a couple Annas and Elsas during their 'Frozen Black Saturday' events and I haven't found the courage to attend one of those events. Lol.
I love the way the finger puppet Kristoff looks with Baby Sven! I still can't believe I lucked into finding Baby Sven and the Kristoff plush. Singing Olaf too.
And these are two other things that I can't believe I lucked into. Funko Pop Comic Con Olaf and Anna. I found them randomly at Hot Topic on Thursday. They didn't have Elsa sadly but I've heard from a Hot Topic employee that Barnes and Noble had Comic Con Elsa. Key word here is had. I called every Barnes and Noble around here and they're all sold out because they had a 'Frozen Read Along' event yesterday. So now these Comic Con exclusives are probably in the hands of toddlers. Lol. Better than eBay scalpers I suppose.
I got these back in March but I wanted to share anyway since the Vinylmation Walter figure and the two pins have been on my wishlist for about 2 years. Plus I can't resist not sharing anything Walter. Lol.
And I know this isn't toy or doll related but you have no idea how elated I was to find a watch with Walter on it. I almost passed out from excitement. Lol. For those who don't know, in the movie Walter has a special Kermit watch that he wears 24/7. So I'm happy to have my version of the Kermit watch but with Walter on it too.
And a special shout out to these two little guys. I found them, alone and dirty, at TRU when I was having a horrible day so I rescued them and cleaned them up. They cheered me up and in turn I gave them a bath. Lol.
Now for the girl I mentioned in my last post, Perfect Patience!
Her name is Autumn. :) I wasn't going to give her a Halloween related name at first, but when I saw her in person, I almost immediately started calling her that. So Autumn it is. Lol.
She's already making friends with all of the new Halloween additions.
This is Ozzy, he's from the So So Happy line.
These guys are Tricks and Mummy. I randomly found them on clearance in the back of a supermarket.
And this guy doesn't have a name yet but he definitely has started to form a personality. I consider him to be my first Halloween purchase of the year. He's proud of that title. Lol.
That was a lot so I guess that's it for now. I found a photoshoot of Ayu that I don't even remember doing so I'll post that soon. I still haven't gotten the chance to write the last part to the Snowcap and Olaf picfic sadly. I'm sorry. :( I'm still going to finish it someday.
