Birthday Presents
I really wanted to do this earlier but I've been battling an on again off again fever and fatigue since the 7th and I didn't want to half-ass it. Better late than never I suppose.
First, before I show off my birthday goodies I want to show some of stuff I got before my birthday.
First up we have Vampire Domo who I got for $4 on clearance at Target.
Here's a comparison to the regular Domo. Vampire Domo's top teeth are a bit longer than regular Domo's.
Then I also got the Target exclusive Timmy the Spider Skelanimal. I've dubbed him Spidey, heh. I was hoping that they were going to have some of the other Halloween Skelanimals left but no luck. They still had a bunch of the vinyl figures which I stupidly left expecting them to still be there when I went back. Now I'm pursuing both the Halloween plushies and figures on eBay.
Then, at Build-a-Bear I was lucky enough to find the last of the mini black labs. They seem to have replaced the black lab with Obama's dog. I can't remember the breed name at this moment, water dog maybe? While the dog is cute it kinda hurt to see Padfoot get replaced, heh. At least I was able to get the mini Padfoot.
The regular sized Padfoot has a magnet in his mouth so he can carry the mini Padfoot in his mouth. The picture almost looks like he's about to eat him, heh. Cannibalism much?
Then as an early birthday gift to myself I bought Calavera at Hot Topic. After
charmed_dolls told me that she was getting harder to find I wasn't going to pass her up.
And here's a closeup of her....
After a while I realized that Calavera and Spidey are pretty well suited to each other. They're buddies now. I want to get her more of the Halloween Skelanimals now (even the regular Skelanimals will do)
Now, onto the birthday stuff. We ended up going to the King of Prussia mall which is a huge ass mall about an hour away from where I live. First, the stuff I got at the mall. We'll get to my actual birthday gifts later.
I ended up going into Claire's in search of the Halloween YooHoos. Instead these guys came out with me. They were on clearance for $1.50 so how can you go wrong? And I have no idea what that shiny white thing in the corner of the picture is...
My vampire wolf, finally! He kinda doubles as Moony and a combination of Edward and Jacob from Twilight. He has multiple personality disorder, lol.
And here's a better look and his vampire teeth. I had a hard time making them look good. They actually look kinda crooked in this picture, oh well.
Cinko! I didn't plan on getting him at all, I guess it follows my tradition of impulse Uglydoll purchases. It was between him and a Kuromi from the Sanrio store. I couldn't justify putting Cinko down though. I could already tell he had so much personality. I guess I'll get Kuromi next time.
Another Skelanimal. Dax this time. I have to say I've become obsessed with these lately. Just what I need another obsession, heh. As a random note, Dax almost exactly matched the shirt I had on on my birthday. The only difference was that Dax has red skulls and a black background while my shirt just had the colors reversed. Funny little coincidence I guess. Now onto the actual birthday presents...
Lexa, yay! She was suppose to be my 'surprise gift' but I have a talent for guessing my 'surprise' gifts. I think I've memorized the shape of doll boxes and such, lol. My mom originally sent my dad out to get the Art-titude Sasha since Sasha is the only Moxie doll that I don't have and she didn't think that my dad would want get me another Lexa. My mom told him the name of the doll and the color bike she had but, of course, he forgot the name of the doll but he remembered that the bike was supposed to be yellow.Turns out he screwed up and got me Lexa anyways so lucky me. I guess he forgot that I already have 2 Lexa's. lol. Maybe he'll get me Sasha too eventually.
Lexa on her bike. Look how talented she is! No hands! Which is only because I couldn't get her hands to say on the handlebars but let's pretend that's not the real reason. :D
Another cute picture of Lexa. I took the little 'name tag' thing that was on her box and stuck it on her bike. I think it looks pretty cute.
Albus Dumbledore bust Richard Harris Version. He was exclusive to San Diego Comic Con 2009 so I was pretty lucky to get him off the official site. I think there were only abut 4 left when I ordered him.
Here's a closeup of him. He's definitely one of my favorites. Someday soon I'll post pictures of my Harry Potter collection.
Harry Potter waterglobes. They both play the Harry Potter theme song. The trio from the Prisoner of Azkaban(right) and Goblet of Fire(left). The little figures in the Prisoner of Azkaban one move around in a circle and it has a tendency to start playing the music during the night. It'd be pretty funny if it didn't wake me up in the middle of the night. Any little noise wakes me up.
More waterglobes. Hermione and Ron from Chamber of Secrets. They play the Harry Potter theme as well. I'm actually really surprised how well these pictures came out. It's hard to get good pictures of these things.
The Ollivanders Wand shop figurine. It's one of my favorites. I just can't help but say "Aw" everytime I see it.
And finally my beautiful Chill, Ayu. I bought that outfit with her in mind in February. I actually got it at a Goodwill store and I had to climb into a huge box to get it. I'm not even slightly kidding. I immediately stripped her of her stock since I wanted to see how stained she was. The staining was pretty bad at first but I managed to get it to look unnoticeable for the most part.

View of the whole outfit. Since then she's acquired a couple more outfits that I think look really good on her so I'll be posting pictures of that soon. She's already so spoiled, heh.
And now the last picture. Under all that fur she's waving hello to the world. Ah, I love her so much. <3
So there we go. The very long picture heavy birthday post. Needless to say I'm broke since I either bought or half-paid for most of the stuff but it was all definitely worth it. Next I'll be posting a lot of Ayu-centric posts. I have a rough idea for an introductory picfic so I'm going to try and get that up and going. Also, I big thanks to
