I love all the dolls' expressions here! They all look real somehow, like they actually posed and made faces for this.
In all honesty, I considered, many times, not doing the challenge this year but it's just become such a part of October for me I can't imagine giving it up. I too would like to at least make it to ten years before stopping. It's so weird because it was such a random idea I had all those years ago and I really didn't think it was something I'd continue on with for as long as we both have and that it would become such a part of me. I still get upset over the fact that I wasn't able to finish it completely in 2012, even though it was completely out of my control.
I truly am so glad that you decided to do this along with me every year. I certainly couldn't do it without you either, it wouldn't feel right at all! I really never thought when I started the challenge eight years ago that anyone would really even be interested in looking at the pictures; like I said in that one other comment, it really was something I came up with just to motivate myself to get outside at least for a little bit of time each day and enjoy October, and it really blew my mind when you said you wanted to do it too, that first year, and it makes me so happy that we still both do it. It's like I created a new October/Halloween tradition and that means a lot to me.
I hope you had a great Halloween as well, and I look forward to hopefully seeing more posts from you throughout the year! I'd like to do more in my doll journal too...I don't know if I'm just losing interest some days or what, but it would be nice to get back into the hobby a bit more.
