I'm in the midst of a very intense first rewatch of The X-Files. I finished the series for the first time a few weeks ago and immediately started back at the beginning. Okay so

Season one is awesome, most especially when you look at it in the scope of all the seasons. I love their naive beginnings. Scully is not hurt yet. Mulder doesn't feel guilty because his cause hurts her. THEY'RE SO CUTE BASICALLY. Their love is so pure here, it's like a friendship built on the early foundations of respect.

Funny you say that because we just watched Drive (ROB BOWMAN OMFG) and there is that beautiful shot at the end with Mulder staring out into the Pacific and his shirt is the same kind of blue as the water and the sky and it's very lovely.

HAVE I MENTIONED TO YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE SEASON 1. Fuck I can't believe how quickly I rushed through it the first time around, never stopping to recognize how beautiful it and their relationship is. Early foundations are the best kinds of foundations.

I really love this! Having new, awesome music makes me so happy, especially when it reminds me of bbs!mulder&scully. Also the audio clips are the cutest! The scene from "Jersey Devil" is about to be my new ringtone. Lol!

I'M SO GLAD YOU LOVE IT! I love all these songs a lot and it's been so emotional for me rewatching season 1 and finding all these songs to go with moments and the M/S love at the beginning and also the end of the series.

I can't think of any better ringtone than one with Mulder and Scully's voice. :)
