Ogopogo
So, I learned what the supposed "Ogopogo" is today. Apparently its a mythical creature that lives in Okanagan Lake in British Columbia. I was listening to the radio this morning, and one of the hosts was talking about how she swore she saw it when she was 7 or 8 and on a camping trip or something.
The most likely actual beast is probably a lake sturgeon, which can get HUGE, and look like monsters when they're near the surface.
Still, funny to think a mythical creature resides nearer to me than like, across the Pond. Hehe.
