A/N: It's a sonnet...mainly because I have no life. But also partially because I have a poetry midterm this week and I am avoiding studying. I'm proud of myself for getting it down to 100 words. I will never attempt it again, it took forever. Comments would be amazing. :)
Sirius never really knew fam’ly
Until meeting his roommates at Hogwarts.
A mother, father, brother. Not really;
Elab’rately acting, just playing parts
Then away to school and sorted into
Gryffindor. Unexpected. Very soon
A pack. All running, under the full moon.
More than friends to him, and him to them too
They were his family, through peaks and dips.
He knew it when James prank’d him with a grin,
He knew it when Peter would “let him win.”
And knew it indeed when Remus kissed. (Lips.)
For once, he had everything he wanted,
A family, friends, and love he flaunted.
