Sirius never makes cleaning easy.
He bounces on already made beds.
He presses messy fingers against already clean mirrors.
He drops crumbs on already swept floors.
And then he presses me up against the walls that are already wiped free of fingerprints, and throws both of our clothes around my already tidy flat.
Sirius never made cleaning easy.
He’d lie about as I was trying to dust the couch.
He’d whine when I pushed him out of my way.
He left little pieces of him in every room.
And all over my heart.
Hard as I scrub, I just can’t clean off those spots.
