What a wonderful day! I had a surprise party! And I'M SIXTEEN!
Yesterday was my sixteenth birthday! We (family) celebrated on Sunday though; I'll upload the photos of my gifts on Friday. And today, my friends threw me a surprise party! I was so touched and glad.
Honestly, I wonder why on Earth Lakshmi (my best friend) didn't join Drama. I was half-expecting something during recess, even if it was just all of us gathering to eat together, so I got an SMS during class (I hope none of my teachers is reading this I could see the light of candles through a gap among their bodies (which was when I realised that there was a surprise party) and 2) Lakshmi was dragging me towards them and grinning (which was when I realised that Lakshmi hadn't fought with them, the whole thing was a trick).
I think my jaw dropped; I must have looked dazed, because I definitely felt it! Saranya was like, "Lakshmi fought with us, is it?", while grinning, and then the whole group burst into "Happy Birthday". I was grinning like an idiot, and kept going, "Wow!" and "Oh my God!" and thanking people and a few times alternately yelling happily at Lakshmi for her wonderful lie and asking her why she didn't join Drama.
The chocolate cake was absolutely delicious; I ate two pieces, and since they'd forgotten plates, we tore up the cake-box and used the pieces as plates. I had such a wonderful day. :D
If any of my friends who helped with my wonderful surprise party today are reading this, THANK YOU!!! You guys are the best friends I could ask for! I almost cried for joy today. :S *hugs*
