It's May 2nd. Aka the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts on May 2nd, 1998.
I cried for everyone who died at the Battle (I know it's a work of fiction. Shut up.), and I think that the movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, did a good job with that. Also, if you don't have the soundtrack you should. Statues and Courtyard Apocalypse are among my favourites because they're so heartbreaking and suit their scenes so perfectly. ;__; Listening to them now and trying not to tear up. I've even had dreams about the Battle with Courtyard Apocalypse playing in the background. >_>
Dammit, now I want to watch the movie again. I COULD, in theory, but I was planning to do some research for a project. Damn.
Picspam time, and perhaps I will watch it this weekend.
"Piertotum Locomotor! Hogwarts is threatened! Man the boundaries! Protect us! I've always wanted to use that spell!"
I laughed through tears at this point in the movie. This scene gets a video link.

*holds her wand up* RIP Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, Colin Creevey, Fred Weasley, Severus Snape, and everyone else who fought and died at the Battle of Hogwarts. And RIP, everyone who died before that: Lily and James Potter, Sirius Black, Hedwig, Albus Dumbledore, Dobby, Ted Tonks, Mad-Eye Moody, Cedric Diggory...
Until the very end. Always.
