Stolen from seablue-eyes

Pick up the nearest book to you. Turn to page 45. The first sentence describes your sex life in 2012.

Sadly I am sitting almost exactly in the middle of my room and surrounded by books, and there are two possibilities:

Greek Mythology by John Pinsent: At some stage Io was tethered to an olive tree in the grove of the Mycenaeans and guarded by the All-seeing Argus, who himself wore a bull's hide and had eyes all over his body, and (in some versions) two faces.

... I'm going to be tied up? In public? Kinky.

Eye of the Moon by Dianne Hofmeyr: ... defying him to try and scare me with his jackal eyes and sharp jackal grin

Context: evil embalmer wearing the Anubis mask. Again, kinky. XD

... why do both involve symbolic/ritual animal masks/hides? >_>

Edit: ... I COMPLETELY forgot about the wall shelf installed over my bed! *FACEPALM* It is right over my head, and hence closet to me.

The Children of Húrin by JRR Tolkien: Now Húrin, knowing her courage and her guarded tongue, often spoke with Morwen of the designs of the Elven-kings, and of what might befall, if they went well or ill.

So there's lots of pillow talk involved? Lovely.
