Humanity is capable of so many things. Love. Compassion. Altruism. Justice. Peace. Also, hate, avarice, malice, rage. We try to make the world a better place by showing the hate-makers that there is also beauty.
The fact that you have LEAVES on your trees makes me jealous... xD
But also, I get what you're saying. I mean, some days, you just feel like the world's so screwed up that it's not even worth trying... and then, you see something, maybe something huge, or tiny... and it makes you realize that there IS still beauty in the world... y'know? Ha. But seriously-- it's pretty amazing.
xD I am so grateful for the fact that I get to livwe somewhere with a gorgeous view. Plus, this is the tropics so generally trees aren't bare. In fact the opposite happens and the government has to ensure trees along the road are trimmed so heavy leafy branches don't fall and cause accidents. ;)
I know exactly what you mean, dear! <3 The world's a grey zone; there's so much evil and yet there's still so much good.
[xD I'm just lucky, I guess, to live in a quieter area with greenery. Most of my friends envy me because when they look out of their window they see roads, carparks or buildings xP]
Aww. I think it's a sense of being alive; to me survival =/= living. I had one this morning too, when sitting at the track in school (which is surrounded by trees) in the pre-dawn greyness and eating my sandwich and watching the sky lighten and listening to birdsong and insects and the wind in the trees and feeling the wind on my face. I breathed in and felt so calm.
That sounds awesome. :D The Force is with you, young Padawan. <3

Very true, and very well-said! It reminded me of something I wrote for role-play yesterday. xD (though it's set in a dystopian not-so-distant future)
