Challenge: #38-Sirius attempts to train Harry to become an Animagus.

"The main thing to remember about the animagus transformation is that it's all about your state of mind," Sirius lectured solemnly. "You have to find the animal within you and concentrate on it. Now let's try again." Harry smiled and watched him raptly as Sirius closed his eyes in meditation. There was silence for a few moments, and then a small giggle. Sirius cracked one eye open, giving Harry a reproachful look.

"You're not taking this seriously! The transformation requires concentration, dedication -- a lot of -ations. Now...again." "Jaa-aames!" Sirius whinged over his shoulder, "he's not even trying!"

James chuckled and brought a tea tray into the living room, setting it on the coffee table next to Harry's baby seat. "Maybe you should try again in a few years, Padfoot," he commented wryly. "He's only nine months old, after all. Babies aren't known for their concentration."
