[His eyes widen when he sees the pink-haired girl. He recognises her immediately, thanks to the dozens of pictures Moony had had scattered about his room. Otherwise, his second cousin was only a little girl to him.

[Bugger, what did he even call her? What had Moony called her?]

[He manages a faint smile, only because, well, it's hard not to smile in the face of whooping cheer.]

And you're a bit old for the you I should know. I suppose you know me after Azkaban and all that. [So unreal that she marries Moony. He wonders if they're already married, but he's afraid to ask.]

[There's a slight note of desperation in his tone. He can't help but think he couldn't have been anything but useless after Azkaban, no matter what Moony said. Crouch's comments about him hiding in caves hadn't helped any, even if he had pretended not to be bothered.]

I'm far from alright, but that's a long, boring story. This place is exactly that, a madhouse. You wouldn't believe a quarter of the things that happen here on a regular basis. Am I still alive where you are?
