Hummingbirds
I had a dream this morning that it was sunny outside. I woke up (but continued dreaming) to a humming noise. I saw the hummingbird but thought i was still asleep - but then he came to me, and touched my face with his wings and beak.
I was shocked he felt cold, like rain at night. But i wasn't scared, because i felt so beautiful and calm. The light was refracted so powerfully from his irridecent body that it seemed he was glowing.
For a while I lay still still. When i reached out to touch him, he flew out the window.
