I've had such an awesome time! Friday I hung out with Katie and Emily and Kalan and Valerie after school, and then the group disbanded a bit and we went to Katies house to work on the play, its gonna be awesome.
Then I went to "Pizza Night" where a bunch of Kalan's family sits around and eats pizza - it was TANGY (the pizza wasn't actually tangy- im just trying to convey the awesomness).
i had the best time ever except that i got low on iron and all dizzy and confused and well, you know, couldn't breathe? Right-so, in my oxygen deprived state i tried to teach gabe 2 songs so that kalan could pick out a baseline to them later - i feel bad for everyone involved; it must have been awfull to sit through the 6th time...ah...my appologies...oh wait, i think you all need to know that Kalan's (male) cousin hits on him.
Just for fun, you know.
and then...(tada!) i wake up late to buy u2 tickets, yet somehow I'm there before the crowd anyway - not that timing mattered because, Ah! your place in line is determined by a chance drawing. I was worried, chance is always a frightening concept. But then do the numbers get pulled...and what am i? Sixth place - a position perhaps not vied for in any race but in this line I am satisfied, I will go, and I will see, and I am thankful, yes thankful...for my life and the spirituality that is my life - with everything woven so deeply into music. For the how beautiful life is when you tap you foot not because you are impatient and not because you are worried but because you've found the rhythm, that rhythm will wrap around you like arms, carry you and love you as only Eternity can.
