Across the Pond
Well, I knew that wizarding travel was fast, but I never imagined it would be this fast. We departed from Liverpool this afternoon, and just a few minutes ago, we arrived in New York.
Oh, due to the nature of this trip, we’ve each been assigned a traveling companion. My companion, James, seemed a bit nervous at first, but after a couple drinks on board the ship and a couple rounds of some Muggle game he liked called “Going Fishing?”
Tonight we’re staying in Wizard New York, and then tomorrow we’ll go to the Muggle side. It’s amazing how different this city is from London. We’re staying at the Twin Horses Inn. James was so tired after the trip, he decided to retire early. I’m meeting with some of the other delegates for drinks downstairs.
