Poor Sirius! I could feel his guilt and grief with every word. Him being unable to speak up and defend himself because he thought he deserved it was heartbreaking, and the final scene when he's actually in Azkaban and where the prompt ties in was very intense.

This was very well-written, and I think I might have to follow the advice of Remus and eat some chocolate now.

Thank you! I could never understand why Albus didn't fight more for Sirius after excusing his behaviour at Hogwarts. I could see, however, him condemning Sirius after that scene in DH with Snape.

Oh, man. Stunning and horrific. That the Order gave him a chance to speak but he couldn't is just heart-wrenching, and then the look of the cell and all of its accusations is stark and terrible, but that final image takes the cake for being truly terrifying. Great job.

Thanks! I can imagine it was truly horrific being threatened with Azkaban while young but not realizing just how horrible it was until faced with the reality.

This is just layers of guilt and angst and sadness and... GAH! I love it! I wish I had words to tell you how much. I can't even point out anything in particular that I like because it's all so good.

So sad and creepy. It had never occurred to me that Dumbledore wouldn't have spoken for or tried to help Sirius, but no one spoke for him did they? So sad.
