Sirius & the Order of the Phoenix

(Sirius in Azkaban by ~Loony-Lucy on deviantART)

1. How do you picture Sirius's relationships to any other particular members of the Order -- such as Dumbledore, Hagrid, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Mundungus Fletcher, Alastor Moody, Alice and Frank Longbottom, Dorcas Meadowes, Marlene McKinnon, Fabian and Gideon Prewett, McGonagall, Snape (oh yes, do tell what Sirius thought of having ol' Snivellus there), Tonks, Emmeline Vance, or anyone else -- either in the first or second wars (as applicable)?

2. Do you think other Order members found Sirius too rash and reckless? In the first war, did many of them even know that he and James were doing things like going about in phoenix-logo t-shirts (see the "prequel" short story)?

3. What do you think Sirius's "rank" or status (social or otherwise) was like in both the first and second wars? Besides his obvious limitations i.e. hardly being able to leave Grimmauld Place, ar there any differences having to do with his increased age or his having been in Azkaban?

4. Were there any other offers for an Order headquarters besides Sirius's offer of number 12, Grimmauld Place?

5. How did the other members of the Order - particularly Kingsley - feel about the fact they were concealing a fugitive's whereabouts, even given that they knew he was innocent? Was any magic done to enforce this, or was it just everyone's word? (The Fidelius Charm is on the location of Order Headquarters, after all, not Sirius's whereabouts.)

6. How might Sirius's participation in the Order during the second war have differed if he had not been a fugitive? Would the fact that he had Harry to think of tempered his hot-headedness any, and maybe he'd have survived to the sixth book or longer? Or might his inability to stick to his own cautious advice (such as that seen in his letters to Harry) have got the better of him even earlier on?

As always, discussion is not limited to these topics; feel free to discuss anything that comes to mind related to Sirius and the Order of the Phoenix!
