A note on the "Anything Goes" category: We tried to put here the most open-ended prompts -- those which explicitly said either pairing or gen was fine, or did not specify one or the other, or were very brief prompts with "any characters" -- especially if the rating was "any rating." Sometimes we were kind of guessing as to whether the intent of a prompt was more "strictly gen" or "either any pairing or no pairing is OK". Even considering all this, some prompts straddled categories. We did the best we could!

Prompt: Sirius Back has recently escaped. Write (or draw) from the viewpoint of one or more aurors or Ministry staff who are working on gathering information to aid in recapturing the dangerous killer. What sort of profile would they build? Would they look at records? Speak to people that had known him? Something totally different?
Feel free to use an OC if you wish. They might be reporting to Kingsley or this could be before Kingsley got this assignment. (Of course, if they were working with Kingsley they'd have no idea that Kingsley had no real interest in finding Sirius.)

Meanwhile Sirius Black and Remus Lupin were suddenly raising three small children in the Muggle World and Lupin was trying to keep anyone in the WW from finding out that he's living with Black and that they have the Boy Who Lived. Prompt: They were all told about the cursed purple sapphire, yet they chose not to believe in it. According to legend, you have to touch the purple sapphire and horrible things will happen to you. So of course, acting on a dare one of the characters (author chooses who) will touch it. As is expected, nothing horrible happens until a few days afterwards. At first it is minor things like a beloved family heirloom or a possession gets broken as if by unseen hands, but then it becomes terrifying when the person slowly goes mad.

Yet everyone appears to have just allowed him to rot in jail without a chance to prove his innocence/guilt. How did the betrayal feel to Sirius, with and without the Dementors taking away his hope and happiness?
