I use a number of plant names for communication personae, such as verbascum thapsis and hydrastis. Thinking about creating a myspace account, I decided to find a new plant name to use.
The first interesting one I came across is dicentra formosa, the Pacific or Western or Wild Bleeding Heart. Imagine talking to your leftist west coast friend and taunting during political conversations with the epithet, "you're such a dicentra formosa liberal!"
