Introduction

In the year 317 of the Second Age of the Sun in the Elven realm of Lindon in Middle-earth, a daughter was born to Gil-galad, High King of the Noldor, and Aewennen, River-woman of the Gelion River.
She was named Ningloreth by her father and her chosen name was Eledhwen.
Until her marriage to the Noldor prince Celebrimbor, Lord of Eregion, she dwelt both with her mother (in her early years) and in her father's household.
Eledhwen's husband and daughter (Sídhaew) were lost in Sauron's destruction of Eregion and Eledhwen secluded herself in the Pinnath Gelin during the second half of the Age. More sorrow followed with Gil-galad's death during the battle fought by the Last Alliance ...
