I haven't disappeared...
... it was just one of those times when everything seems to go wrong, or at least be complicated enough that in the mornings you just want to stay in your bed and forget the world.
Between objects dying on me (VCR, scanner…) and annoying people (yes, my boss is still on top of that list), and also my feet that have kept hurting for a long time after Rome, I've been glad that LJ provided a much needed relief. The worst of it all was the problem about my car insurance which I told you about in this post.
The insurance stopped on March 31st and I couldn't find another company willing to deal with me, because of last year problems, or just because they wouldn't deal with someone that has been dumped by another company ! After many, many words with many, many people, I finally found one company, AGF, and signed the contract on the 30th. But it also means that if I have any problem in the 24 months to come, they will not renew my contract either. And this is not a great contract, not very expensive but my car will be 10 years old in a few months… I hope all this is clear enough as I type at work during lunch , without my usual dictionary, and it's a bit technical for my level of English ;)
Looking for the link to my other post reminded me that I've received two days ago the Stay DVD !! I'm going to watch it this weekend, so be prepared for many questions if this is as complex a movie as every one says ;) And for those who haven't hear me complained about it already, the release date in theatres here has been postponed once more, to the end of July ! I fear it's never going to be shown :(
I'll have to go back to work soon (coffee first !) so it's time for the wallpapers. I've made them for woosgirl who's been so much fun when I was stressed (thanks, Liz ;D) so you can imagine the theme. Rose, it's probably best to close your eyes ;) and because you've been great fun too, I promise another wallpaper sometime soon-ish just for you (without the pornstache of course !) and in the meanwhile I have a funny link for you, and for the people who understand both French and English and like to play with the two languages.
The second wall is kinda experimental (that's what you say when you're not sure about the result, right ? ;D) Hope your day is as sunny as mine. Spring is really here since yesterday ! It's great to work with windows open ;)
