*drools*
Mmmm, Ewan... ♥

I hate it when cinemas do that kind of things. :( We never got BBM this far and it seems like P&P was here for only a couple of weeks (but because we tried to clever, we went to see it almost immediately = 10 people watching altogether)... *sighs* Unfair business. :/

BBM was surprisingly successful here, it may still be playing.

I read a forum where people were ranting about that (they could'nt see BoP either), saying some really stupid French movie stayed for weeks but you couldn't get to see the good (often indie) movies. It's even worse if you live in the countryside ! I should be happy for the big city ! But I couldn't see Dear Frankie for example for the same reason. How do they expect a movie to make money if they don't advertize it first, and then show it ???

I keep on drooling with you over Ewan ;D

What shocks me most is that the local cinema has decided not to show BBM at all. I just checked out their website. :/ Blah. BBM wasn't greatly successful here at all (in the whole Finland, I mean) which I found rather surprising... I basically live in a average-sized city (30,000 residents which is a lot for a Finnish city :D) but because the local cinema is the only one nearby, we usually miss the "indie movies! - what can surely be said about the cinema is that smaller and unsuccessful movies will not come here at all. :( It makes you sad because the nearest cinema then would be about 200 km away!

LOL! Ewan's always worth drooling for. ;D

I do too. I've always heard that the Scandinavian countries were rather open-minded about homosexuality, so I'd have thought that this movie would find its audience easily.

Wha? O.O *giggle* Well, sure, I guess that the younger generations are open-minded but oh boy... The men at the age of...from 40 to as long as they're going to live. Not. Open-minded. At all. I know what I'm talking about, I live with a semi open-minded person, and he's been having problems with the whole BBM idea. *sighs* But...maybe that's the thing only in Finland, I can't say for sure. They don't even count as in to the "Scandinavian countries", lol! We're being oppressed. xD

Another delusion I have to forget ! Well, it was nice while it lasted... ;) It's always good to think there's a place where people are better, so that you can hope to match them one day *sigh*

What do you mean by They don't even count as in to the "Scandinavian countries" ?

Whoops! That was supposed to be "they don't even count us in...". ;) My mistake. But that's true, Finland is not actually a Scandinavian country at all, we were taught that Scandinavia basically includes Sweden and Norway (and possibly one more country, which I've apparently forgotten about :P), and in some cases also Denmark and Island. *sigh* I have a feeling they don't like us. xD

LOL! I second that hope, it would be nice for a place like that to exist. Unfortunately, it seems to be impossible nowadays. :( (and hey, I ♥ your icon!!)

I give you the icon once more, because I love it too ;)

Sorry, I prefered to ask since my English is far from being as good as yours and I wasn't sure I understood correctly. And you see, it's something else we were not taught the same, because I learned Scandinavia strictly includes Norway, Sweden and Denmark, but we also use the term loosely for Finland and Island. It's scary to think even geography is not the same everywhere ;D (and I'm not really good at it !)

:P It would be a sin not to like it.

And awwh, thanks for the compliment! *hugs* I'm always so unsure of my own skills that hearing a thing like that from another person means a lot to me (especially as I think that your English skills are fantastic!). :) I guess I really need to pull myself together with that, because I'm seriously considering about going straight into a British university and studying English & English literature - I'm pretty sure my attitude won't get me very far yet, lol! ;D

Schools... They're always so different (and you know, there is a possibility that my definition for the area to be called Scandinavia isn't that correct, the last time I heard it was during the 8th grade and gosh, I hate(d) geography)! I'm actually the one you don't want to get lost with, I'd just get even more lost if it was possible. ;D
