Yeah, Rome !!! Only three little days but that's good. I've been there already for a short week when I was 17 (that's already twenty years ago, but don't tell anyone). I'm going with my boss and two colleagues (but not for work) because the trip is paid for a big part by what we call the "comité d'entreprise" (and no, I have no idea how to translate that in English, it's a legal comity financed by each and every entreprises of the country that uses the money for theirs workers, particularly the ones with little wages - normally). I went to London last year, and I hope we'll have some other trips in the future.
Of course you can ask what I do (and you can tell me what you do as well ;D) I've done a few other things in my life but these days I'm a medico-social secretary, and I've worked for eight years now for different establishments (?) of the same big association whose aim is to help disabled people, be it through work, daily activities or lodging (?). The one I now work full-time for is providing lodging with help of educators and/or daily activities for about 65 mentally disabled people (with sometimes light physical disabilities). There are three different services and it's constantly growing, which explains why I always have too much work to do because I'm the only secretary and I have to help the accountant a bit too. But I really love my job because it's never the same day after day and the people I work with (both co-workers and disabled people) are great and interesting. And that's probably a lot more than you wanted to know, sorry ;D
Coming around more ? I don't know, we'll see. And it's not like I don't have people coming in my office all day long, which makes it difficult to play with you all without being seen ;) But I'll try sometimes, that's for sure, because I know I won't be able to resist ;D

Wow, you have a great job. And it's awesome that you love your job! Myjob is not so interesting. I do sales analysis for a major manufacturer here in America, actually the world, but I only deal with the USA part, and my customer is a major pet store here. Boring stuff. That's why I spend most of my day on lj.
But by night, i'm a photographer, and that's the job I really love. and I hope some day that I will be lucky enough to take pictures of our dear boy, Ewan. Though, I'm sure that if I were ever to be in front of him, I would completely forget how to work a camera. :D
You went to London last year? Did you see G&D while you were there? or did you go before it started? i'm still sad that I never made it, but I've started saving my money. Next time he's on stage, i'm there!!!
and you're 37? I never would have guessed. :P I would have thought you were 22. haha! I'm 35. so we're not too far apart, eh?
