I <3 protege

SATs this morning...woo hoo, loads of fun [end sarcasm] Britney Bailes was in my testing room, we talked about Keller's English class from last year before the test started, good times. And freaky thing, there was this kid named Estaban sitting behind me, and he looked really familiar, and I found out that I knew him because he was in my 7th grade Texas History Class. Woah, talk about weird, all the way from Texas and we meet again.

Then went to my brother's basketball game, they lost, but he did a good job. There is a 6th grader on his team that is 5'7. I feel short now. 11 year olds are taller than me. Then we got taco bell, and my mom dropped me off at the train station to go to protege. I enjoy riding the train by myself actually, you get an hour to yourself, just to think and relax, and soak in the scenery. Then I joined in on a card game going on in the seat next to me, and when I bought my train ticket, I forgot my Neuqua id, so I used my North Central College id, hehe, I felt like a college student. I rode a taxi by myself as well, it was only $3.45, which was weird because when we usually take a taxi to the rehersal hall it's $6.50....

Went to protege around 3:45, just in time for Pines of Rome. Andreas wasn't there, so I was principal bassoonist. The two clarinet players next to me said they want me to beat Andreas because I sound better. And Elizabeth wants me to beat him too because she said my tone was better...Talk about nooooo pressure.

Train ride home was fun, Jes introduced me to Good Country music (oxymoronic if you ask me) and Will and Liz were being all lovey-dovey. Then Liz and I rocked out to N'sync on the ride home. Woot.
