GWANGJU

Climate: 26F - 86F with yearly average of 56F; average humidity at around 72%
Entertainment: Gwangju Biennale, National Cemetery, National Museum, Gwangju Hyanggyo (Confucian school), Street of Art (downtown), Gwangju Kimchi Festival, Gwangju Youth Music Festival, Jisan Amusement Park, Kumho World
Cuisine: Gwangju tteokgalbi (grilled meat patty aka Gwangju's burger patty) and street food that I can't find because the bloody site won't work for me. -__-
Interesting Fact(s): seen as the vanguard of SK's democracy (Gwangju massacre; similar to Tiananmen massacre), home to the largest night club in Korea, dialect is hard for other Koreans to understand
ULSAN
seventh largest city
Climate: 27F - 86F with an average humidity of around 67%
Entertainment: Mugeodong (student life), 3 main beaches, Daewangam Rock, Pine Forest, Samsandong (up-market district), Seongnamdong (old downtown, shopping at low prices, some foreigner friendly places), Gangelgot (lighthouse), Sinbusan, Mujechi Swamp, Ulsan Whale Festival

Transportation: no metro system, but extensive bus system

CHUNGNAM

GANGWON
Climate: monsoon climate with cold and dry winters and hot and humid summers though probably not as hot as Texas
