PROJECT ENTROPIA - CALL FOR ENTRIES - DESIGN CONTEST
This is my first entry in my journal and what better way to start it than posting a CALL FOR ENTRIES - DESIGN CONTEST. Basically my favorite MMORPG (PROJECT ENTROPIA) is currently having a contest to design an introductory loading screen. This contest is open to everyone even if you are not a player of the game. I am including a picture of the word document I created to promote the contest. MindArk wishes to announce an ongoing competition for the virtual universe Project Entropia. The competition involves the creation of the introductory loading screen when Project Entropia is started.
MindArk wish to have this loading screen renewed several times per year, and are looking for talented people from within or outside the vibrant Project Entropia community, with creative and exciting ideas for the image.
If your image is picked to represent the loading screen in Project Entropia you will be awarded US$1000!
The image should be in BMP-format, with a resolution of 1024x768. Please keep in mind that MindArk need room in the image for logos and the Project Entropia name.
The image will also be used as a painting within the virtual universe.
If your image wins you will relinquish all rights for it to MindArk, and have no further claims whatsoever. You cannot use the image in any other media or presentation.
The image, complete with name, address and contact information, should be sent to image@mindark.com.
Note that this is an ongoing competition, and will continue until cancelled. That means that every image received will be evaluated every time the loading image is up for change. Your image may be chosen at any time after entry. You may enter as many images you want. You have complete freedom in the choice of style, content and setting of the image.
