Day Trips
So Adam and I have been going on quite a few day trips, mostly in the North Bay. I took some photos of our first trip to Point Reyes last September and I barely uploaded them today. It was much foggier and warmer than last weekend when it was sunny and cold.
On a trip to Yountville, Napa County, we checked out the French Laundry. Since we couldn't afford to eat there, we got a nice view of their garden next door.
A few weeks ago, we went to Sonoma for brunch. We stopped at a place I went to a few years ago to get some amazing eggs Benedict. The surrounding area is very woodsy, with the Russian River cutting through the hilly vineyards and forests.
On the same trip, we drove down the coast and stopped at a random beach north of Bodega Bay.
And finally, our most recent trip was back at Point Reyes. We followed a trail down to a rocky beach and visited a historic cattle ranch.
Adam and I still want to go to Muir Woods and go bike riding in the Sonoma Valley. I can't wait! I knew there was a reason why we moved here.
