Quickie Platinum Print Update
So, yesterday, A Master Platinum Printer stopped by and I got to pick his brain on Platinum Printing a bit while he was picking through our old paper stash for his "Sunburn" project. Got a few eye openers on the UV lightbox front. Time to do some engineering and plot for fall. I'd really like to have a good printing light source without breaking the bank. I've been debating two options for the light source, and I'm now leaning towards following the advice of the guy who prints Jim Marshall's photographs in platinum over the other guy who I was talking to.
Time to get dressed and head up to campus. I need to get some measurements to figure out if making a UV light box capible of making a 30"x40" platinum print is worth while. I need about 4' x 5' for the box.
