"Fetish"
I forgot to post this when I saw it, but since I've got some time on the way to the darkroom, I figured it was a good time to post. Anyway...
I was heading back to the photo area with an Italian BMT when I wound up behind a twig of woman in one of those trendy sweat suits/track suits in sea foam green. One of those suits that looks kinda sorta nice for what it is but left me wishing she had more of a figure to fill it out. On the right side of the suit on the pants on her backside was the word "fetish" in a white font(I think it may have been a calligraphic styled font) with the outline of a single tail whip going through the word.
Now this entire ensemble got me thinking. Does she have a track suit fetish? Is she making a reference to the male gaze, and appropriating herself as an object to be desired/fetishized? Is she being a little less than subtle about her potential kink? Is this something that I should take a lesson from Freud about and remember "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar?"
