Pennsic 37
Another Pennsic is history! I hear this one may go down as "The Pointless War" due to that idiot idea the King the East had of "surendering" at opening cerimonies soe the battles oculd be fought "for fun"!
Seigfried wasn't able to make it this yer, but Bea was, & had a great time! Looks like this will be a regular twosome event from now on! She was a big hit with the household & is now a full member of Full Circle in her own right!
Alex did well as part of the Middle King's retinue. He also seems to have hit it off very well with my former Squire, Sir Geoffrey fitz Gaillan. (And speaking of Sir Geoffrey, it seems I now have a Great-Grand Squire!)
One unhappy thought; I'd been noticing how many of those little electric scooters there were all over the place this year, when it hit me WHY! Do the math; this was Pennsic #37, and I'm only 3 months shy of turning 60. When I first joined, I was only 21 & most of the Scadians I made friends with were older than I was. I knew the old faces were getting fewer and fewer, but I'd somehow overlooked how much OLDER we were getting! I wonder if those scooters can be fixed up with a lance rest?
