Spring has sprung
And so has love
For me and my dear sweet
While winter's whip
And tundra tongue
Have been swept into the street
But with the rain
Come storms of pain
Goodbye's with hugs and tears
Just leaving me
And my dear sweet
Yearning snow for years and years
It's coming soon
Last trees to bloom
Making way for summer heat
And though we laugh
The spring can't last
For me and my dear sweet
Yet 'neath spring trees
Our love is these:
The strongest of all the roots
Which leaves in me
And my dear sweet
A silent secret we keep mute
When the veils lift
And weather shifts
Think not our hopes be crushed
For hidden between
Two loudest dreams
Is the one we both keep hushed
Even though a scare
Sweet summer's stare
Altough our distance forever long
You'll see that me
And my dear sweet
You'll see we'll still be going strong
