Happy 2012, Happy Year 3, Boom De Yada!
Siren's Pull mod team wishes everyone a very Happy New Year, and an early Happy Anniversary for this game, which has been successfully running for two full years now! We hope Year 3 will prove just as fun. A few quick reminders and updates:
1) Because of holidays and accessibility issues with the new LJ commenting system, we've extended a little grace time for Activity Check. Those who have failed to check in on December's activity or have not communicated with a mod about passing AC will be listed up tomorrow. We apologize for the delay
2) As a reminder, the week-long Snowglobe Event will be kicking off tomorrow after morning sirens, with an Open Log for mass participation. One more nifty thing about the orbs: When they are in close proximity to one another, they emit a chiming noise, similar to the sound heard in This Video (thank you, Skyrim). This is one way that someone in possession of at least one orb can locate others with a little game of Marco Polo, proving useful later in the week for those interested parties who want to nab a little piece of Core Mystery for themselves.
3) Our important Poll/Discussion Post, regarding a potential move of host journal services is still open until Jan 10th. Please make sure your concerns are heard and counted! As of right now, over half of the vote is in favor of a move to Dreamwidth. New Applicants This Cycle: As potential new members of this community you can vote too, immediately after posting your application. Please make sure that you use the same journal you posted your app with.
4) Speaking of app cycles... It has come to our attention that LJ has been automatically changing up journal settings again, and this has led to a few apps being screened by the spam filter. We think this is because the comment contains only a link? We've unscreened them all so far, and will continue to keep vigilant with the queue, but we apologize for any concerns. The first batch of apps will be processed tomorrow night. Characters accepted before the 14th of the month will have the option of assigning their characters to a starter apartment in the maximum mortal peril zone, for an upcoming event on the 15th.
