wrap up events of jack's kidnapping plot
HEY GUYS here is a post about the end details of that Black Mask kidnapping Jack Kelly plot some of you may have heard about.
ALL OF THIS IS MOD APPROVED
On 3 December, Black Mask initiated his nefarious plans by sending henchmen to kidnap Jack. Since then, he's been periodically torturing him, as well as stealing his blood. He's been mixing the blood with a cocktail of addictive drugs and selling it to the very richest as a new designer drug called Juve. The blood regenerates and heals, and the drugs get them addicted to ensure repeat customers. It's presence is rare and usually limited to socialite circles. Its appearance dates as follows:
4 December: Sector 3 in limited quantities.
10 December: Sectors 5 and 6 in limited quantities.
15 December: Sector 8 in extremely limited quantities.
Late on the 16th (this Friday), Black Mask receives intel on the Joker's hideout: the Fairgrounds and Amusement Park in Sector 5. Within an hour of receiving that intel, it will be a soot stain on the map of Siren's Port. The explosions will be strong enough to shatter nearby windows and the fire department will show up shortly to fight the conflagration.
While this is happening, Batman will be rescuing Jack Kelly and taking him to the hospital, then returning to punch Roman's face off and haul him off to jail.
By the 17th, Mask will be in police custody and his arrest will be public knowledge. What will NOT be public knowledge is that he is responsible for the fairground incident. He'll remain there until he goes to court and is sent to the asylum.
He's also dosed himself with Jack's blood (without the drugs) and regrown his face, but this is also not public information (unless your character has directedly interacted with him. if you are unsure if this applies to you, just ask me, but please do not assume.).
IF YOU PLAY A POLICE CHARACTER AND/OR ARE BATMAN: you get to go to his house and see all the creepy shit.
in the house proper:
-assorted masks hanging on the walls
-a collection of realistic and high quality busts of people in the port: Batman, Red Hood, Re-l, Bruce Wayne (whose bust appears to have been thrown or dropped due to a chipped off nose), Carrie Kelley!Robin (although the face has been updated to reflect the age change), Stephanie Brown, Joker, Riddler, Deathstroke, Sylar, deDrago, Raul Creed, Diego, Gabriel, Rochelle, Khisanth/Onyx
-in a closet, there are additional busts tossed carelessly, some of which are cracked or broken: Yaha, Jack Kelly, Harley Quinn, Scarecrow, Two-Face, Man-Bat, Shinji, Liquid, Kadaj, Yazoo, Light, Edgeworth, Grimmjow, Lucifer Morningstar, and some redhead with a blank plastic mask
-several mannequin heads with various wigs
-vials of Jack's blood mixed with the drug cocktail
in the basement:
-Jack in the dentist chair
-a dead Mr. Doe (this is a NPC prisoner Mask has had since around May) still chained to the wall
-a camera on a tripod
-video Jack's first torture session (on the memory card)
-video of Steph's torture/death (on the memory card, from when she disappeared around October)
-video of one of the slave torture/murders from back in the spring (on the memory card)
-numerous torture implements (just ask for specifics and I can make them up)
-blood bags/vials/things to collect and store blood
If your character appears as a bust and you aren't ok with that, let me know! Or if you want an explanation of why they've appeared, I can let you know. I presume the police will take custody of the collection, but if you want your character to have theirs, I'm sure something could be worked out (e.g., if Zoey wants to steal Rochelle's for her, I doubt anyone will notice/care that it's missing).
TL;DR you can ignore this all if you want and there will be articles in the newsfeed the day after it happens. Dream and Thleen will presumably show up to plot out after effect things. I also have the feeling I've forgotten something, but whatever.
