Pffft. You know how I feel about your playing. I think my only crit is that I'd like to see Joe forming more close bonds with people out of cast but I also know he's a casual commenter and doesn't always lay it on thick to get people to confide in him. So that's okay.

Daedalus is, as always, spot on and really well done. I'd like to see him involved in some new plot but I've got...nothing for you. Maybe by the end of this month/beginning of next we'll be seeing some new things from the EP cast as a whole.

Yeah, Joe is not really the confidant type, but he could definitely use a bit more depth in his relationships as a whole, and that's something I'll be trying to work on!

Daedalus is...fairly 'episodic', as far as activity goes- he's a support character who is often playing secondhand participant, and in the long term I don't like to keep him too plot-committed specifically so he'll be available for people to go to for doctory-things whenever, but if there is opportunity for relative plot that will take his development in a new direction, I will aim to snap it up!

I love playing with you more and more, Kelly. <3 I'd love to do something beyond the usual doctor-patient scope with Diegodot and Dae (not like that) but I don't know quite what yet... I suppose it will come to us!

Yeah, Daedalus can be a tough nut to crack outside of professional mode, as he really doesn't....go too personal/social with many people? A lot of this has to do with him being a little short-sighted with himself, outside of career-role. He is not used to having peers outside of work, and while I'd certainly love to do something deeper than medical or lawyery shindig with Diego, the right opportunity needs to present itself for it and it probably won't be Daedalus to take that initiating step beyond professional boundaries, if that makes any sense?

Makes perfect sense to me!

Someday they really do need to go coffeehousing just as two bros, though.

As always, though I barely know either canon, I adore both your characters. <3 I think I've said it before, but I do love how Joe is his own personality, and how hard he works to be himself-- every choice he makes reflects that, and yet he isn't a giant emo look-at-me-pity-me character. You play him wonderfully, and please keep it up.

Oh boy, geez, the last thing I want is for Joe to be too wallowy in self-pity. While he does have some moments of hormonal teenage "my life/issues are more miserable than yours, so I'm going to be caustic and vocal about it!", I try to play him on the lighter, more easily adrenaline driven side.

Adsjkdl I fail at tagging your posts, but I have to say that both of your characters are played very well.

I will talk more about Joe since I've been catching up on the threads surrounding KH casting...biased, but true because I'm terrible at keeping up with things. However, I like how he's been setting his own pace and coming to the aid of those he cares about - especially within the last month alone. Seeing him want power to protect his friends made me flail since it was both a good and bad choice. Still, Daedalus at least still has his straightforwardness when relaying things to the public. I like that.

So...that's it! Game on.

I am really set on keeping replica in the avenue of gray middling morality, with a strong sense of friend-loyalty and a wilder sense of what he's willing to do/cast off/neglect/sacrifice to keep his important promises. That's staying true the very core of who he is as a character, and I do want him to have the opportunity for more mistakes and bad-good decisions and failures, but not to the extreme sense of wrecking him up entirely, because I hope to keep him playable for a long while ( ... )

Props for doing that - it's usually very hard to maintain the gray when all of the CR tends to tip the scale one way or another, but I think you're doing very good. And I can't wait to see more of those choices! Yes.

ASlfdj YES WE NEED TO DO THAT because I fail at plotting things that can involve everyone and everything.;; I understand how that goes since Xemnas is basically sort of the same way, more or less, but I'd love to try that out. SOME DAY. This will happen. orz

Ahh, please don't be intimidated, okay! I fake all the medical-ing 100%. Research involves lots of googlesearching, crossing my fingers, the occasional cross-check with Magneto-mun, who IS a paramedic, and hoping I'm pulling itall off right!

Kelly, my dear. ♥ You're such a lovely thing. Your characters are lovely, your characterization is deep and complex, and your writing is excellent. What's more, you do so damn much for this game and for everyone in it - not just as a mod, but also as a player. You offer plots generously, and the plots are fascinating and creative and exciting. I respect, too, just how much you always bring to the table in terms of that creativity: you try so much that so many other people wouldn't have the ambition to try, and that's so cool to see ( ... )

♥ Thank you!! I love this game, and want to see it do well, with everybody enjoying themselves as much as possible for the long haul.

*nod* Yeah, Daedalus is...Daedalus is somewhat-deliberately played that way- I know I have him often rapidfiring questions with Edgeworth in particular because it's better to dodge interrogation turned on himself by posing all the questions first. As far as blowing through several things at once, it's probably a bit of his habitual isolation showing- now that he does say things out loud, he struggles to keep his mouth at not only the same pace as his mind but in a way that's understandable to the person he's speaking with. So yep, this is at least partially something I'm aware of as a character choice, but if that is proving detrimental to carrying IC conversations to the point of player confusion and irritation, I will definitely try to pull it back a bit.
