Bern here can grant wishes, and she tends to be in a ... well, special mood when Tanabata is involved. "Be careful what you wish for", etc. She'll be hanging around the festival, looking at the wishes but not granting any... yet.

so! if anyone is looking for their character(s) to have a wish go horribly wrong, ping me here! or through AIM/plurk/LJPM/whatev. I'll probably be also making a post for Bern tomorrow about this, so please feel free to hit that up too. Let's make this exciting and awesome.

I was also thinking of doing it in August, but then I was like "W/E IF THEY CELEBRATE IT IN JULY IN TOKYO DISNEYLAND IT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME."

ahahaha, yessssss I was hoping Bern would want to get in on this! B) my characters... don't have any wishes I can think of to go horribly wrong (yet, sob) but I am looking forward to seeing the good times roll.

Heh. I can definitely see Gohan making a wish on this. I'll just need to figure out what it is.

Hitsugaya . . . doesn't believe in making wishes, unfortunately. But if someone who knows him wants to put one up on his behalf -- for good or for ill -- I would love that.

So Tanabata's also pretty important to Haruhi! If you'd like her to, perhaps, run across your character's wish and have it suddenly come true... possibly in a monkey's paw terrible kind of way, or possibly just normally... she and her reality warping are certainly up for it! Just let me know here or PM me or whatever you like. :)
