'Looking for someone?' A young woman asked as she approached him. He lifted his eyebrows as he looked her over. He had not expected a woman, especially not one so young. But she spoke to him as if she knew why he was there. It could be that she was just trying to make conversation to pass the time.
"Possibly," Severus said, smoothly. There was no point in revealing himself to a complete stranger. "Are you looking for someone in particular or do you just enjoy talking to strange men?" He broke eye contact with her to look around for anyone who might be more like what he imagined the person he had made contact with. There didn't seem to be anyone like that who was paying any attention to the two of them. She had approached him, so she was obviously looking to meet someone at this intersection. It might be a coincidence, but the chances of that were very low.
He looked back at her, folding his arms over his chest. "Are you the person who asked me to meet at this intersection earlier today?"

It was too open here for her tastes, and Temari glanced down the road. Standing on the corner and talking like this stood out like a sore thumb. "Tea drinker, by any chance?" The sooner they moved to somewhere else, the better. Keep it public, but a location where sitting and talking was expected.

"Yes." he said. He wasn't particularly fond of tea, but he understood what she had used the excuse for. They were a rather mismatched pair, so standing together might attract too much attention from the other pedestrians.
"Do you know of a decent cafe nearby?" Severus was unfamiliar with this sector. He had very little reason to explore this area.

Shrugging, Temari turned to start walking down the street. "Decent enough. Come on, my treat. The food's not bad, either." She did know of a cafe that had good tea, passable food, and lousy service which was perfect for this. It meant that it didn't have a lot of customers, and the staff never seemed to be around. The booth in the back would be out of sight, and two people having a long chat over tea wouldn't even be noticed.
"I'm Temari. Nice to put a face with the text."

"Vance." He hesitated, trying to find some sort of pleasant thing to say. It was not an easy task for him. "It is nice to meet you." It sounded quite forced to his own ears and he was annoyed by that.
"Conversing with you was very interesting."
Reply
"Interesting? I didn't think there was enough information exchanged to qualify as interesting, other than your interest in some actual organization and pooling of resources."
Reply
"It was the lack of information that I found interesting. Everyone else in this city seems to be so free with giving out their personal details. It almost seems like the residents here enjoy bragging about their abilities and qualifications."
