'Underfunded'! What a charming word that was, too. 'Underfunded' meant that it would be of a particularly fine commoner variety. An especially common commoner's establishment. It wasn't the depressing aspect of the pound that Tamaki was interested in--no, no! More he was interested in its common air: in the atmosphere! After all, if he was to live like a commoner here, he should know all sorts of commoner things. And the dog pound was just one of them.

Ah, but Mr. Edgeworth had asked a question of him!

"I do indeed have a dog of my own!" Tamaki allowed himself a moment of misty-eyed nostalgia, and a mighty sigh. "Antoinette is her name, and she is the finest dog of them all! She sleeps in my bed, and she is always ready to play or go on adventures with me!" A slightly more real sigh. He did miss Antoinette, her slobbering and her wagging tail. "Ah, but she's likely being well-cared for, in my absence! The staff at the second mansion has always been so kind, to both me and Antoinette. They likely are spoiling her, the silly girl!"

Still, it would be good to see her--and everyone at the second mansion--again. Tamaki glanced across the street, as if the house were simply going to appear out of mid-air, with everyone gathered on the lawn to welcome him home. Really, he was being quite silly today!

"Ah, but what about you, Mr. Edgeworth? You have owned a dog before, correct?"
