Who: hergreatgospel and her riddlemered
When: Backdated to Saturday evening, May 29th
Where: A restaurant, a walk, wherever they feel like going
Summary: Holy Moses, Battler's going out on a date with a *gasp* normal girl!? The guy who seems to only attract extremely dangerous or bipolar (and sometimes both) members of the opposite sex?!? Aerith, what secrets are you hiding??? 8|
Warnings: Se~duc~tion~ ... in Battler's head maybe. Other than that, no, just some cute CR between two bored characters.

Battler could barely believe his luck. Okay, to be honest, he'd already hit on pretty much anything with a uterus on this side of town since he'd been here, but with statistics being on his side, not only had he scored not only another date, but this time with a girl who not only seemed very sweet but seemed very normal! Not that he had anything against Jinx or Amy being who they are. But let's be honest here, it felt really really nice to date a girl that either didn't feel like tearing him to shreds, turning him into a plaything, threaten any sudden wrong move he might make, or literally eating him. He was actually going out on a date and for once did not need the help of alcohol or a cigarette to relax.

Did Battler feel just a little bit of guilt when he stepped out of his apartment, smelling nice and dressed to impress another girl, knowing that he was dating Beato at the same time? If he did, he brushed it off immediately. He and Beato weren't dating. Not in a romantic sense. It was only so he could solve her final riddle. Once it was solved, he could go back home, his real home, October 1986 Japan Planet Earth, his family would be spared and he could wash his hands of witches and magic and all that nonsense.

As he slung a jacket over his shoulder in case it might suddenly cool down and his date might get cold, he hummed to himself as he left the Starter Apartments on his way to pick up Aerith.
