[ While she hates this place and these people no less than before, Khisanth is finally starting to admit to herself that moping won't do much good. So she's made a New Years resolution: find better amusement. It's that possibly ill-advised decision that'd led her to a quiet stalking of Bigby, one of the people on her to-watch list. He'd been terribly amusing, with that cute assumption of his that she'd go quietly to jail with him. How ridiculous. But surely it's been long enough for him to forget all about that, so she'd spent a day or two keeping an avian eye on him.
No one ever suspects the crow perched on the telephone wire, feathers fluffed for warmth and one beady eye on the people coming and going below. And surely no one would ever notice the way that starling seems to follow them home-- there's hundreds of the birds around, of course it's not the same bird as in the area 10 minutes ago. So it is that Khisanth learns just where to go, and about midday the next day finds her knocking on his door.
So what if it's snowing decently? A little weather never stopped her before, there's no reason she should let it stop her now. She has a man to pester and she fully intends to see it done. ]
