Summary: Taking advantage of the snow with ruthless tobogganing
Warnings: Moderate-heavy fluff
[ The snow on the ground crunched as it gave underfoot as the toboggan skittered along on top, dragged behind them by a rope tied to its wooden handles. Only a matter of time before Canada provided the weather to use it, Claire had figured, and the world had finally come good on that. Thick flurries still blew down in occasional bursts.
They found a good spot to wait for Maya, on a corner near the road where their dark coats stood out against the white backdrop of the park. She’d taken a little convincing, but really all it took was framing it as an outing to cheer up their mutual friend and she’d been swayed. Said mutual friend had been told that it was actually for both of their sakes, although what Chane made of it was, as usual, something of an enigma.
The snow on the road was packed down hard, almost to ice. He turned to her, offering a gloved hand for balance before they crossed. From the bite of the air his face was already pink enough that a blush would be unnoticeable. The hand-holding thing was still new. ]
Not too cold?
