Who: Rachel and Finn
When: 01/09
Where: Glee apartment
Summary: Rachel and Finn seeing each other for the first time since he popped up.
Warnings: teenaged angst and also just... derpiness.
Rachel had been waiting for Finn to get to the apartment for what seemed like forever, though it had probably been only a few minutes since they'd turned off the feed so that he could actually make his way back from wherever Kurt had gone to pick him up from.
In that time, she'd managed to fix her hair twice, sing softly to herself to try to build up as much calm and composure as she could-- after all, when she was older and working Broadway, she'd have to be calm all of the time--and focused on the makeshift start she'd taped to her wall as she tried to remind herself over and over again that Finn was with Quinn, had chosen her very firmly and it didn't matter how he'd smiled at her or said that he was going to see her on Broadway.
It would be a lie to say that she wasn't looking forward to seeing him, though. To hugging him and being around him and just... everything. She'd long since reconciled that there was a chance that she was going to have to take a step back from love and teen romance to focus on the things that were more important in life. Just... it was going to be harder than she had thought that it would be, if she was going to see Finn's face every day.
Finally, as if it really had been forever, Rachel heard the door to the apartment open and moved as quickly as she could to her bedroom door, yanking it open and poking her head out.
“Finn?”
