Who: Livio and Re-l.
When: January 5th, 2012.
Where: Re-l's apartment.
Summary: The two talk about their respective snow globes and the similarities of their worlds.
Warnings: None.
[She's pretty sure the Core is sentient with the sense of humor it seems to have. Sure, it's the new year; now everyone can be reminded of the past, of their homes and their former lives.
She's spent the majority of the week trying to ignore the snow globe she's kept at home, hoping that it would simply disappear under the mountains of paperwork and troubles she always has. But her mind keeps going back to it, again and again, and to the images it keeps showing. Romdeau, the little cradle when it was still whole. Her garden. Her bedroom. Iggy's grave. The Mosque dome. And to the dual throne rooms in Romdeau itself. They keep haunting her, again and again, and she hasn't been in the mood to talk about it with anyone. No one's called to ask her, either, and she's grateful for it.
So it might be hypocritical of her to want to know about Livio's when he comes over for their bi-weekly talk, but after he told her about the "plant angels", she's be curious as to the other parallels their worlds have. She doesn't know how much he'll want to share, but even a little bit of information can go a long way.
There's a huge tin of cookies and sweets in the middle of her coffee table, the only safe haven of food amongst piles of files, pictures, and books. It's full; she hasn't eaten much from it and it's fairly obvious. Hopefully, Livio will want to have some. It'll spare her from having to eat too much of it on her own.]
You got one too, right? A snow globe?
[She looks up briefly from a sheet of paper she's glossing over.]
I think everyone got one except the newest of arrivals.
