Summary: It's like the set up of some heartwarming Christmas movie. At least until Ritsuka calls someone names.
Warnings: Couldn't see this getting above PG.
[Christmas just isn't that big of a deal to Ritsuka. It's a day to eat a cake, sometimes, but New Years was the big-deal December holiday for people in Tokyo, and in his own family - at least, when Seimei was alive - his birthday was the time for quiet nights at home and exchange of meaningful presents. Riku had made a very nice birthday for him indeed (surprising him that he remembered), but Ritsuka knew he would have to buy or make presents for everyone in the household out of politeness. Thus, he's carrying a bag chock-full of cookie tins from his job. They're cookies he made himself (as evidenced by their less-than-perfect features), but they should be at least okay to eat.
He stops in front of a shop display to admire the layout. The crowd is pretty thick at this point, and Ritsuka's ears, poking out of his favorite hat, lay flat in annoyance as he attempts to squirm away.]
